Learning Beyond The Classroom

For many children from economically weaker families, continuing education requires more than admission to a classroom. Regular guidance, a supportive learning environment and access to everyday educational needs can shape whether a child remains confident about the future. Through the MUSKAAN Child Development Programme, KNSS India works with children who need consistent educational and developmental support. The programme includes After School Classes, computer learning, physical activities and assistance with nutrition, hygiene and stationery needs.

The purpose of MUSKAAN goes beyond helping children complete lessons. KNSS India seeks to remain connected with their educational journey and encourage them towards higher learning, professional education and greater self reliance. Students supported through this pathway have gone on to pursue Nursing, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Cyber Applications and other professional courses. Six young women associated with the programme have completed GNM or B.Sc Nursing and secured employment in hospitals, enabling them to contribute to their families with greater confidence.
